Certicover Insurance has been created by the Association of Australian Certifiers (AAC) in response to the variability of professional indemnity insurance options for Registered Certifiers.
The development of Certicover Insurance works in parallel with the AAC's submission of a professional standards scheme that will allow the limitation of liability for registered certifiers in NSW.

About Certicover Insurance
Certicover Insurance has been developed by the AAC to benefit of its members to be sure they have a professional indemnity insurance policy that meets the requirements for their registration and also the best possible cover if, in the worst scenario a claim arises.
AAC has developed its own PI insurance wording to provide support to Members and support the AAC objectives to:
- Provide sustainable, reliable and affordable risk pricing
- Manage a portfolio of risk that is attractive to insurers to support
- Provide a wording that provides best protection for members
- Promote risk awareness and loss prevention practices to reduce claims against members
- Utilise members' own experience with strategies to achieve better claims outcomes
Certicover Insurance is a Lloyd’s of London backed product and is issued by Australian Underwriting Pty Ltd trading as Certicover Insurance.
